WHY & WHEN SHOULD SOMEONE ORDER A CUSTOM WIG OR TOPPER?
The most common reasons for custom order are when you cannot find the PERFECT style, color, cap construction, hair density, and/or size.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF ORDERING A CUSTOM WIG OR TOPPER ENTAIL?
It is a very detailed process and requires the expertise of someone who has been trained, by the manufacturer, in custom ordering. Our team has gone through extensive training to ensure our special orders come out exactly as expected.
During your consultation, your Heart + Hair Certified Alternative Hair Consultant will discuss your goals and specifications regarding the wig or topper you are going to order. They will document these specifications, color distribution, measurements, collect any samples (if applicable), template/molds (if applicable), curl pattern, cap design, and/or density.
Custom orders take approximately 3-8 months, each order requires a quote and delivery timeline confirmation from the manufacturer.
HOW DOES PAYING FOR YOU A CUSTOM ORDER WORK?
Heart + Hair requires a 50% deposit be paid upon placing the order with the manufacturer. The remaining 50% balance is due when the wig or topper is ready to ship to the client.
ARE CUSTOM ORDERS RETURNABLE?
No, all custom orders are final sales. The only exception is if the custom order is not per the specifications on the custom order form.
DO CUSTOM ORDERS COST THE SAME AS STOCK ITEMS?
The cost of your custom order will depend on the cost the manufacturer charges Heart + Hair for your item. It will also depend on what modifications/specifications you are requesting to your system. Our goal is always to get the price as close to the stock price you are ordering.
CAN I CUSTOM ORDER SYNTHETIC?
Unfortunately, no. Only human hair systems can be custom ordered.
